Makin' headers, cool blogs and a jury duty questionnaire for you....

If you've noticed, I have been changing my header on this blog a lot lately.  I just downloaded Corels Photo Shop Pro free trial and I am having so much fun playing with that thing!!!  It's awesome because on this free trial you can save your work.  I've only got 30 days to play with it so I am spending almost all day on it making all kinds of headers.  So you might see a different header everyday for awhile.  I might just have to spend the $79.99 and buy it when the free trial is over!

I also want to mention a great guy in the blogoshere named Josh.  He's got some really great blogs.  The first one I am going to mention is The Gabbatha Journey.  It's a daily spiritual discussion with a fun twist (this guy's got a great sense of humor!).  The next one he started is a great idea where many blogs all feed into a main blog.  It is called The V.I.P. Lounge.  Go on over there and check it out.  If you want you can have him add you to the V.I.P. list! And lastly is the new blog he started this week called The Vault.  This is a blog with a giant chat box called The Confessional were you can go and post your secrets anonymously.

On to the home front...

Hubby just got a jury questionairre from the US Distric Court.  He might have to go serve jury duty.  He doesn't want to though.  Why is that the people who don't want to serve get summoned and us who would love it never get summoned?!  Have you ever served jury duty?  What kind of trial was it?  Did you like it?  Just wonderin', i'm nosey like that.

Sleepin', cleanin', cryin', socializin'

It looks like there is going to be school tomorrow!!!  I'm dropping them off then going back to bed and sleeping until 11 or heck maybe noon!  I can't wait to have my house back to myself during the day.  I'm starting to feel a little claustrophobic and that is strange for me as I love to sit in the house.  I think it's just having these kids breathing down my neck 24/7.  I have gotten a lot of house cleaning done.  I even shampooed the carpets yesterday while C-man was at his mothers.  He hadn't been over there in three weeks.  Yesterday when he went over there Hubby told them he would pick him up at 9:30pm.  Just over two hours after C-man got there they called and said they wanted us to pick him up between 3:30 and 4:00pm.  Go figure.  Oh and Rabids drug dealer was there for the whole visit, he showed up right after we dropped C-man off.

Hubby left to go to Louisiana for the night to work.  He'll be back tomorrow night.  So I guess i'm just gonna sit around here and watch tv all night.  I can't sleep while he's gone, at least not at night.  I feel bad because I cried when he told me he had to go.  I shouldn't guilt him like that I know he doesn't want to go and me crying isn't what he needs.  I just hate it when he leaves for the night and it seems like once a week he's gone over night.  Ever since he fired that guy a couple weeks ago he's been really over worked.  Hopefully soon he can get someone to replace that guy and things will be back to normal.

What I really need is some hobby.  I've made him the center of my world and I act like a big baby when he has to go away for even just one night.  Next week I am going to start going weekly to a womens bible study group.  That should help.  They are doing a 6 week study on the book of Daniel.  I bought the study guide so I can't back out of it now.  Actually I'm really starting to look forward to it.  I like all the ladies involved and some of them are my sons teachers and one is the school counsellor C-man is talking to.  A few of them are my neighbors so I'll get to know them better.  It'll be good for me to get out of the house and around other women in the community.

CokejpegWell I better close this post it's getting long and I need a Zero Coke.  I just started drinking those and I highly recommend them if you need to stop drinking regular Coke and are having a hard time.

Until next time ~

Court dates, Anne Rice and ebay...

We just got a call from our attorney.  The court date is this Friday at 3:30pm.  He is going to see if the judge will just hear the whole modification case then instead of just the order to vacate that they filed.  Rabids court hearing for the petty larceny is at 8:30am that same day.  I think our lawyer set the date for the same day just later in the day so he could use whatever he learns at her hearing against her during our case.  Last night she called and Hubby told her that C-man wants to live with us and asked her if she even cares what he wants and she said, and I quote "I don't care WHAT he wants!".  Our lawyer is going to ask for sole custody with her having limited supervised visitation.  Hopefully the judge will have the supervised visits at child services.  I'm just making myself sick worrying that her mother will be given a second chance to supervise the visits and we will have to take him over there crying every other weekend.  I need to go crochet and watch soap operas or go read a book to get my mind off of this!  I did pick up Anne Rice's Blood Canticle recently.  I've only gotten about one chapter into it so far but if it is anything like the rest of her books it should be great.

I posted a new item on ebay today.  A gently used Dooney and Bourke handbag if anyone is interested.

I'm off to try and relax now... See ya.

Crocheting and knitting is sooo fun!

Poking my head out of the nest...

I knew I couldn't stay hidden forever, I just love to tell about myself and what's going on around here.  Dave asked me to tell about my Ebay activities and I couldn't resist.  My Ebay listings can be found here.  I am listing new things every few days and it is a hodge podge of different things.  I am going to put a link to my Ebay page here on this blog so check it out every once in awhile if for no other reason than to see what kind of junk interests me.  Most of the stuff I sell I would really rather just keep myself but I like the money more.  I am trying to raise $500 to change T-man's last name to my hubby's last name and we are needing more money to pay our lawyer in the custody of C-man.  Ebay is proving to be a great way to save money as all the proceeds of the sales go into PayPal and not our account at the bank.  I'm not trying to hit anyone up here on my blog to give me a charity sale!  Don't worry about that because Ebay has plenty of buyers out there and I am having alot of really good luck with it!  But if you do see something you really want... :)2351485791

Other shite...

I am so sick to death of my own blog!  Rabid this and Rabid that!!!!!  I need a vacation from my life.  I'll take Hubby though, I kinda like the big guy.  I've been crocheting alot lately.  It makes me just close out the world for a few hours.  Here's what i've been doing.  Afghanmutli It is going to be a king size afghan for my bed.  Just a bunch of random colors.  That way no matter what color I decide to paint the room it will probably match it.  Another thing I've been doing is ebay selling.  I picked up this beautiful Seyei china coffee pot with the sugar bowl, creamer and 4 cups at a garage sale.  It has real silver trim.  I've got it up for sale this week along with some really old (over 110 years) books.

100_1645_1 I'm trying really hard not to mention Rabid and C-man can you tell?

I want to meet you!
