Hockey, Nerf, weather and cake GLORIOUS cake
Hockey last night was a let down. The stupid Ref's stopped every fight. They couldn't even get off with one punch before the refs went over there and stopped them. Oh and we also lost 4 to 5, that sucked. I still had some fun but it wasn't a heart pounding good time like I had hoped.
I mentioned C-man's birthday was yesterday. His cousin decided to buy him a Nerf air rifle. Something in this house is going to get broken I just know it. I told him not to shoot it in the house. He just gave me that blank stare and said "well what if I accidently shoot it in the house?". Boys.
We are getting some more snow and rain today but not the 4 to 8 inches that they were predicting. Thank goodness. As it is it looks like my porch is going to cave from the weight of the ice that has been on it all week. There is 3 or 4 inches of ice on that porch roof.
Damn, don't I have anything good to say?! Well, my husband has lost about 10 pounds this week. That's what he says but I find it hard to believe. I lost 3 or 4. We are really sticking to this low carb diet and it seems to be working. It was hard not to eat C-man whole birthday cake. It smells sooooo goooood. I ate one tiny piece of it. I had to. It was my kids birthday. I think theres some kind of rule that you have to. Really.
