Bulletssssssss...

• Things have been so quiet around here it's almost scary.  I feel like any moment Rabid Squirrel is going to do some evil doing.  C-man has to go over there at 10 pm Christmas Eve and doesn't come home until the day before school starts in January.  I'm sure she will have him throughly examined for child abuse and molestation, taken to a psychiatrist, a lawyer, DHS and any and all other places she might think help her regain custody.  Poor kid.

• We sold our old house!!  We close around Dec. 15th.  The realtor had this mystery potential buyer and she wouldn't tell us the woman's name.  Then after the woman decided she wanted the house we found out it is one of my husbands ex girlfriends (who he broke up with under very bad terms to say the least) from 12 years ago.  Apparently she's been living just a few streets over for the past two years and my teen age son is friends with her daughter and we didn't know it.

• The city is being audited in two weeks.  I'm about to have a breakdown at work trying to get everything on their list ready before they get there.

• You know you go out to eat way too much when the owner of a restaurant calls you at work and asks if she made you mad because she hasn't seen you in the past couple of weeks.  Yeah, that happened to me today.  I told her things were just a little tight right now with having two house payments.  I said we'll be back to supporting her family next month.  No, I didn't say that.  But it's true.  I bet we spent three hundred and fifty dollars a month in that place easily.  God, I suck.  I really need to cook more often. *Sigh*

Germs, caffeine dreams, and bustin' out...

I'm soooo sick.  I had to go to the doctor today.  My sinuses are all clogged up and I'm getting a chest cold.  For the past two nights I have been up coughing my head off.  I wanted to make another video but I really look and feel awful.  That and I can't think of anything to video blog about.  I keep trying to make a video of the hubby and my teenage son but they keep waving at the camera with their middle fingers.  I take that to mean "get that f*cking camera out of my face".  They are seriously no fun.

You know what sounds good right now?  A great big cup of cappuccino.  I got a prescription of some killer cough medicine and it is making me so tired.  I wish I lived closer to Oklahoma City so I could run down to the nearest Starbucks.  Mmmmmmm White Chocolate Mocha Latte......

Today while I was waiting for the evil empire (Wally World) to fill my prescription I went shopping.  I swear the purposely wait for a half an hour to have it ready just so that you are lured into the rest of the store.  Anyway, I went to the womens clothing area.  I found a nice black dress shirt to go with my black and gray pinstriped pants.  I have lost about 18 pounds. I really hate this because I am too big for a medium and too small for a large.  I bought this medium button up shirt and I got it home and I'm popping out of the darn thing like i've got big hooters or something (NOT). Yeah you really wanted to know that didn't you. LOL.  Yeah it's a slow news day folks, bear with me.

Ok, i'm going to close this really random post.  I'm putting myself to sleep zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

Pretty toes, Evil Dick and dental work...

Just call me twinkle toes.  Last night C-man stayed at his grandparents and hubby and I went out on a date.  I talked the man into going and getting his and hers pedicures and he went for it!!!  He's never done it and I wasn't sure he would. But he did!  Mine looks fab.

He doesn't have the pink toes but his feet look 100 percent better.  We then totally blew our diet and went out and had authentic Italian food.  It was great.  After that it was showers, bed and Big Brother.  Man I love that show.  Evil Dick is just soooo evil yet there's something touching about they way he loves his daughter.  His Christian bashing is getting old though.  They cut a lot of it out on regular TV.  He is in rare form on Showtime.

Tomorrow is the first day of school.  Yeah I know the other day I was saying I couldn't wait.  It was a bad day and the boys were being turds.  But yesterday T-man and I went shopping all by ourselves and we had a great time joking around and having lunch together.  I'm going to miss having him around.  We also went to get his schedule changed.  They had put him in AG (Agriculture) and he was freaking out.  We got it changed to art.  Now he's in art first hour and cooking second hour.  Two pretty easy classes first thing in the morning should make life better.

Well I'd better close this for now, I've got to take the boys to the dentist to get their cavities filled.  C-man has never had cavities and I am dreading this appointment.  I wanted his dad there to sit in the room with him but he's got a meeting he can't get out of so it's just me.  I really get squeamish watching them do dental work and he's probably going to freak out when they come at him with a needle.  This SUCKS.

Who doesn't do online shopping these days? Buying things like entertainment centers is something you want to shop around for when you're doing your shopping online. Saving money is good when you shop online especially for those expensive LCD TV's.

Ribs, the incredible shrinking stomach and the growing boy...

It was such a long rough weekend!  We had the annual rib roast fund raiser for the little league football teams on Saturday.  We had 6 giant smokers and we cooked 630 slabs of pork ribs.  Oh, did I mention it was a little over 100 degrees on Saturday?!!!  I finally gave out around 10:30pm.  I heard they were at it until 2:00am.  It was a nightmare.  My husband is the vice president of the club and along with the president decided that we will no longer do this fund raiser.  We made almost 5000 dollars but it is just too hard and we don't get enough parents to help.  Not to mention the only time of year we can do it it is as hot as Hell!  I'm surprised my husband didn't have a heart attack or a stroke.  He was one of the ones stoking the fires and loading and unloading the meat into the smokers.  He also cut and delivered all the wood the night before.  We cut down a giant Pecan tree a few weeks ago in our yard and one last year so we had a lot of great wood to smoke meat with.  It was a tense day.  My husband and the woman who is the little league president got into a little argument. I wasn't there but I heard it wasn't pretty.

Anyway.....

My diet is going GREAT I am now down to 147!!!!  I am only eating about 1100 calories a day and no longer feel like I am starving.  Over the weekend I was going to splurge and eat a big meal and I could only eat a 1/3 of it.  I think my stomach is shrinking.  My husband ate too many ribs and gained about three pounds.  After looking at all that raw meat all day I couldn't even eat it.

School starts in three days!!  I'm taking the boys to get the last of their cavities filled on Wednesday.  Thursday is the first day of school!  Tomorrow I've got to take T-man to the high school because they put him in Ag and home economics II.  He is not a happy camper about it.  He's going into the tenth grade this year.  I can't believe how fast he is growing up.  He's 5'11" now and still growing.  He's going to be a big boy.

Well i've gotta run now and do all the laundry from the weekend. See ya!

Another shot at weight loss and a shot at a campaign win.

I'm trying another way to loose weight.  The pills made me sick to my stomach and the low carb diet was just too hard and my friend Titania is a nutritionist and said not to do it that way.  So now I am limiting my calorie intake to under 1300 calories and eating more fruits and vegetables, eating Lean Cuisine and Healthy Choice frozen dinners, drinking skim milk and walking and or riding the torture device exercise bike.  No more soda unless it is diet. Drinking more water and these great low calorie (and some flavors are no calorie) drink called Fuze.  So far in the past two weeks I have lost 5 pounds.  My husband is on a 1600 calorie diet and has lost 13 pounds over the past few weeks.  It really sucks because he can eat more than me and I'm starving!  But, I won't have to diet for as long as my Hubby though because he's got a lot more weight to loose than I do.  I only need to loose 20 pounds he needs to loose about 80 pounds.  Because of the heart disease risk factors he's got to get down to around 175.  I think he can do it.  He's really doing good about calling me before he eats out and asking me to look up what he can eat on the menu that is low cal.

In other news, the campaign is doing well.  My brother came up with a great ad to put in the paper next week.  People are coming up to me that I don't know and asking me if i'm (Squirrel) and telling me that they are voting for me.  I'm getting a little anxious about it.  I haven't worked in two years and I'm a little scared thinking i'm getting in over my head.  Did I just say that out loud? No.  It's online, it doesn't count. LOL

Rain, mosquitoes, fireworks, magnets, and margaritas...

It is 3:32pm and so far it hasn't rained today.  The grass actually dried out enough that I could mow the lawn.  I was attacked by mosquitos.  Thank goodness they really don't like my blood or else I have some sort of immunity to their venom because even if they get all over me I don't get those red itchy spots others get.  If it rains sometime today before midnight it will be the 19th consecutive day of rain.  There are alot of betting pools going on around here on what day the rain will stop.  Not being a gambler I didn't get in on this but I really thought it would rain until tomorrow.  I hope it doesn't rain on the fourth of July because this small town has the best fireworks show i've ever seen, well except for Tinker Air Force Base.  Their show was always really awesome but the crowds were terrible.  Our church has a huge cookout and then we all go out to our little football stadium and lie down on the bleachers with blankets and pillows and watch fireworks for what seems like a couple of hours.  The AG Boosters club serves free homemade ice cream too.  It's great small town fun.

Today was my hubbys and my first day of teaching Sunday School and I had a cheesy great craft project of a refridgerator magnet with the bible verse on it for the kids to make. I'll get a picture next week of mine to show you.  I left mine at the church.  But unfortunately our class rooms are on a lower floor of the church and the classes got flooded.  No major damage because we were expecting it and got everything to higher ground.  So we didn't get to go to our class and we ended up mixing all the classes together and letting them play in the gymnasium instead.  Hopefully everything will be dried out by next Sunday and the kids can do the art project I planned.

Well that's about it.  I'm on my way over to a friends to consume some magaritas.  Have a GREAT weekend everyone and I'll visit your blogs tomorrow!

Letting down the preacher and my coconut cream pie downfall

I feel like such a freaking heel!!!!!  I'm sure there are worse things you could do than what I did, like commit murder or rob a bank!!!!!!!  I promised the pastor of our church on Sunday that I would come to the church this morning at 9:30am and take care of some kids while he was attending a funeral.  I FORGOT!!!!!!!!!!!  At 10:40am I get my lazy ass out of bed and remember.  I race to the church and the people are starting to come out of the church.  I feel horrible!  I haven't gotten to talk to him.  I wrote him a card and put it in the mail and then I sent him an e-mail.  Oh well.  I'm sure he will forgive me.  Pastors kinda have to don't they? LOL (actually that was a very nervous LOL not a jovial one)

OK on to the diet report.

Day one:

10:00am: I took two Trimspa and drank a big glass of water.

11:00am: I have drank two more glasses of water, those pills make me thirsty.

11:30am: I'm getting a little hungry so I ate two french toast sticks.

1:30pm: I am getting hungry again.  I took the mid-day Trimspa and drank another glass of water.

1:45pm: I ate 1/8 of a piece of coconut creme pie.  Not exactly eating diet foods am I?!

3:00pm: I have drank 6 glasses of water and my eyeballs are floating.  Still, I'm not that hungry.

5:30pm: I just took the evening Trimspa.  I'm getting hungry again and I think i'm going to go eat a steak for dinner.

6:30pm: I ate a steak, corn, squash and a dinner salad for supper.  I seriously eyed the dessert menu but successfully avoided it.  Secretly though I knew I had Coconut Cream pie in the fridge at home! Mwahahahaha....

7:30pm: I went to the grocery store and bought strawberry and french vanilla slim fast for tomorrow.  "No more Coconut Cream Pie!" is my new motto.

8:00pm:  Decided that it would be a crime to let the Coconut Cream pie go to waste since the kids don't like coconut and making my husband eat it would be wrong since he is fatter than me.

C-man's waivering, a planned vacation, new nails, and a cook-out, ..

Something I noticed on Thursday that I kind of found a little disturbing was that C-man knew we had court on Friday and when I picked him up from school the teacher told me he was really, really bad at school.  When we got home I asked him what was wrong and he told me that his mother had told him to act really bad at school to help her get him back.  I asked him if he wanted to go live with her and he said "well she said she would move close to you guys and that she would give me my own cell phone if I lived with her" (who gives a 2nd grader a cell phone?!).  Then Friday when we won custody he didn't act very happy about it.  Somehow I get the feeling that this is not over.  She will probably continue to try and get him to act bad at school and bribe him with things.  I'm sure we have not seen our last day in court.  Hopefully we will at least get a year or two rest though.  It's like we always have this evil force working in our lives just waiting for a chance to pounce.

We are planning a weekend in a cabin at a lake for mid June.  I've already made reservations.  We are taking the kids, it's my moms family reunion so we are taking everyone.  I don't know if my oldest son will be able to get off work.  I really hope so because I don't get to see nearly enough of him.   

My daughter took me and her little 5yr old soon to be step daughter to go get our nails done on Saturday.  I got tips put on because I was so nervous last week I bit all my natural nails off to nubs.  Sunday we went to church and then went over to my father-in-laws house for a a cook out to celebrate us winning custody of C-man.  The boys rode the 4-wheeler and a little motorcycle all afternoon.  Now it's Monday and they are all gone off to work and to school and I'm sitting here in the middle of a huge mess that they made.  And I DO NOT WANT TO CLEAN IT UP!!!

1. Luigi's- This Italian resturaunt is soooo good!  They make the BEST pizza!

2. Montana Mikes - Awesome steaks and fabulous service

3. Ken's Steakhouse - This local steakhouse is the best!!!!  They are not cheap but the steaks are thick and the baked potatos and huge.  Great country style atmosphere.

4. Gravys - This place has pretty good food but the best thing about it is it's in my town and I don't have to drive a half hour to get to it.

5. Pearls Oyster Bar - Shrimp En Brochette ~ Ohhh soo good! It's shrimp and aged cheddar cheese wrapped in bacon & crispy fried Served with black cherry mustard sauce. This is my #1 favorite!!!!!

Crazy brother, cavities, mud and secret pleasures...

My brothers ex wife got a victims protection order against him yesterday afternoon.  My nephew now hates my brother and told him he never wants to see him again.  I called my brothers ex and told her I don't blame her and i'm not upset with her or my nephew and if they need anything to just call me.  My brother is out of control and should never have gone to her job or called her making threats.  He is lucky she allowed him to stay at her house at all and just because he gave her a few hundred dollars does not make her his property.  I would have done exactly the same thing as she did.  Of course to keep the peace I am not attacking him, i'm just telling him to back off.  I told him this is step one to her having him thrown into prison for stalking and he needs to get a grip.  I'm not saying what he wants to hear so of course today I've not heard a word out of him.  He's now at my parents again, probably sleeping on their new and uncomfortable couch.  My mom and dad bought a new pretty but uncomfortable couch when they moved into their apartment.  When I asked why they bought an uncomfortable couch they said it was because they didn't want anyone getting too comfortable that tried to sleep on it!

On another note I took the boys to the dentist yestrday.  Eight freakin' cavities between the both of them!! I have been a pain in the ass bugging the crap out of them to brush and floss and they still have all these cavities.  C-man wants to brush his teeth for about 30 seconds so I have to literally stand over him to get him to brush longer.  T-man probably only brushes his teeth when I tell him to which is only every couple of days.  I tell him to do it every morning and night but I bet he's only doing it when I say something to him.  I guess I'm going to have to stand over him too, he 's 15 and has to have his mommy brush his teeth for him! 

Arghhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Oh great, C-man just roller bladed into my bedroom bringing a trail of mud all the way through the house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to just let it go.  I'm going to shut my bedroom door and lock them all out and forget about everything.  I'm going to immerse myself in my secret pleasure.  I'm pulling out the secret stash...
