The verdict...
I just got the news. The judge did not hear the modification case. It is still scheduled for February 5th. He heard the case they brought up, the order to vacate the emergency temporary custody. Rabid and her mother went on the stand and lied and said that they hadn't seen C-man since August and had only talked to him on the phone three times since August. Thank goodness I kept records of all visits and phone calls because our lawyer proved them both to be liars and caught them lying numerous times. I mean for God's sake they just saw him last night at the Christmas program! Anyway sorry I know you are on the edge of your seats, LOL. We get to keep him at least until Feb when we go back to court but her mother is getting a second chance to supervise the visits. They get him every other weekend starting next weekend. But NOT overnight. It will be like it was before Friday night from 6 to 9pm and Sat from 12 to 8 pm Sun 12 to 6pm. Oh and another thing they lied about is they were saying that my husbands parents grow pot on their property. By the time that was brought up the judge wasn't really listening because they had proved themselves to be liars.
The worst thing about this is that as I type this C-man is in the living room with his father crying his eyes out after being told he has to go back over there for visits. He's hysterical.
Oh yes I forgot she has to take weekly urinalysis. She doesn't have to take a hair follicle because she admitted on the stand today that she "was" a meth user. Funny thing she said my husband got her hooked 6 years ago. They weren't even together 6 years ago. Lying you-know-what!
I'm going to close this post now so we can go out to eat. Thanks for listening to me rant and rave all these months! You are all great people, thanks for the prayers and well wishes!!!! *!blowing kisses!*

Are you new here or have you been reading awhile and never left a comment? Please introduce yourself! Lurking is so lonely, we want to meet you!

Well, it's still good news. I could have been so much worse. I can't believe they are going to let the grandmother supervise visits again though. Poor little guy. The good thing is that every time you go to court and they are proven to be liars, its just one more nail in their coffin. Hopefully this will all be over soon, legally anyway.

Good news there, Squirrel. You did fine work with the phone records and providing the proof. Let's hope it will all be completed soon.

Joy to the world!
It's a start, anyway. Here's hoping the courts continue to decide this case in a more positive direction.

I agree with the peeps. Things are at least headed in the right direction.

I wish it was a little better for c-mas sake, but like one comment said, it could've have been worse I guess. Damn, that sucks he is forced to see a person who he obviously despises because the court is forcing him too. Sometimes these court systems don't take the child's opinion into account nearly enough!
